The touristic activity of tourism agencies and tour-operators in January-September 2009

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-September 2009 tourism agencies and tour-operators have provided tourism services to 114,5 thousand tourists and excursionists, that is with 1,5% more that in the correspondent period of year 2008.

Number of tourists and excursionists particpating at the entrance and exit tourism organized by the tourism agencies and tour-operators in January-September 2009 increased compared to the corresponding period of 2008 with 11,8%, simultaneously for the domestic tourism their number decreased with 21,7%.
