National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in June 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 931,3 thou. tonnes of goods with 9,5% more than in the previous month and with 20,9% more than in June 2011. The turnover of goods in June 2012 summed up 343,4 mio tonne-km, with 5,0% more than in the previous month and with 15,6% - than in June 2011.

National Bureau of Statistics communicates, that agricultural production, in all types of holdings/households (agricultural enterprises, farms and population households) in January-June 2012 registered 97,9% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. National Bureau of Statistics informs that since 2000 a continuous increase in life expectancy can be observed, except for in 2005, when a high level of general and infant mortality was registered. In 2011, this indicator registered its maximum duration - 70,9 years, including 66,8 years for men and 74,9 years for women. The significant increase in life expectancy was influenced by lower general mortality rate - 11,0 deaths per 1000 inhabitants, and lower infant mortality rate, which represented 10,9 deaths of children under 1 year per 1,000 live births.

US dollars, which is with 0,3% more than in the previous month and with 2,2% less than in May 2011.

National Bureau of Statistics is announcing that, in 2011 on the territory of the country there were placed 723 water supply systems, of which 569 units - public ownership, 149 - private, 5 - mixed ownership. From the total of aqueducts during 2011 year there had acted 643 systems (88,9%) or with 32 aqueducts more than in previous year and with 129 compared with 2008.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2010 the average salary of one employee in national economy constituted 2850,2 Lei and it increased compared to January-June 2009 with 6,6%. The real salary in the same period of time decreased with 0,3%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 2532,2 Lei, and increased compared to January-June 2009 with 8,0%, in the real sector of economy - 3034,4 Lei and increased compared to respective period of 2009 with 5,9%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2009 the number of small and medium sized enterprises (hereafter SMSe) was of 43,7 thousand enterprises, or with 2,6 thousand enterprises (with 6,3%) higher than in 2008. The sector of SMSe represents about 97,8% from the total number of enterprises.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2009 the average salary of one employee in national economy constituted 2673,5 Lei and it increased compared to the same period of the previous year with 10,1%. The real salary in the same period of time increased with 8,9%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 2345,2 Lei, and increased compared to January-June 2008 with 18,5%, in the real sector of economy - 2865,4 Lei and increased compared to the same perios of the previous year with 7,5%.

The volume of charged services rendered to the population by officially registered enterprises in June 2009 made up 972,1 million MDL that is 1,2% less in comparable prices than in previous month and with 2,9 % bigger compared to June 2008.

The decrease of the volume of transported goods has been registered by railway (-69,2%), road (-50,2%), air (-10,3%) and river (-4,7%) transport.
